Certified Employment Application

Applicants for teaching and other certified positions can check the Certified or Certified Administrator job postings for current openings. Certified applicants are encouraged to obtain an Arizona IVP Fingerprint Card and an Arizona Teaching Certificate before applying for District positions. Classified Employment Application

Substitute Teacher Application

Payson Unified School District is always looking for qualified Substitute Teachers.

Substitute Teachers must possess an Arizona Substitute or Standard Teaching Certificate and a valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Payson Unified School District's Governing Board is committed to making Payson Schools competitive with larger districts around the State by having a realistic salary schedule, generous benefits and targeted employee development.

State mandated Performance Pay Plan compensation may be available to qualifying Certified employees.

Full-time Employees (30+ hours/week) enjoy a rich benefit package including a mixture of District and Employee paid medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage. Employee paid dependent coverage is also available.

All Employees working 20+ hours/week are required to participate and enroll in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS). Employee contribution rates fluctuate from year to year.
