MEALS AT NO COST
We are extremely pleased to announce that Community Eligibility Provision is coming to PUSD starting in July 2024.
Community Eligibility Provision or CEP is a National School Breakfast and Lunch meal service option that allows schools in high poverty areas to offer meals at no cost to all enrolled students without collecting household applications. Because of new and revised qualification guidelines, Payson Unified School District is now eligible to participate in CEP. As a result, more students and schools have the opportunity to experience CEP’s benefits, such as increasing access to school meals at no cost, eliminating unpaid meal charges, minimizing student peer-group stigma and streamlining meal service operations.
