Carolyn Dein earned a Bachelor of Science from Northern Arizona University as well as a Master of Education, Special Education, from Arizona State University. She has been teaching exceptional students full-time since 2018. Prior to moving to the mountains, Mrs. Dein was the Sped campus lead teacher and case manager for a K-8 charter school in the valley. She also served as a junior high resource math teacher.
Prior to working in the education field, Mrs. Dein worked in the legal field and owned an advertising business for over ten years. During that time Mrs. Dein volunteered to teach children at her church. She knew immediately that the education field was to be her new journey.
Mrs. Dein is very passionate about ensuring that all children succeed, no matter what their ability level is. When Mrs. Dein is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her husband of over twenty-five years and loves laughing with her two beautiful daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys playing piano, listening to music, and gardening.
