Donna Moore has been teaching for over 39 years. She was born in New York and moved to Douglas, Arizona while in Kindergarten. After graduating Douglas High School, she attended Pima Community College on an academic and athletic scholarship, majoring in Physical Education. She received a Bachelor's Degree from Arizona State University in 1982.

Following her A.S.U. graduation, she married her high school sweetheart Mike and they have two adult children, Michael & Brittany. Michael is a Tempe Firefighter with two children, Emma & Michael III. Brittany is a stay at home mom with two boys, Brock & Brentley.

Donna began her teaching career with the Pima Unified School District before transferring to Safford Unified Schools in 1988. She received her Masters in Administration from Northern Arizona University in 1989. In 2005, Donna moved to Payson and began teaching at Julia Randall Elementary School and retired in 2016 after teaching 2 years at Payson High School. Following 3 years of retirement, she missed making an impact on student's lives. She went back to school to complete her K - 8 Elementary Education Certification and returned in 2019 to teach First Grade at Payson Elementary School for four years. Currently, Donna is working as the English Language Teacher at Julia Randall Elementary School, working with students in grades 2nd -5th.
