About PCSA

Payson Center for Success Academy (PCSA) has supported students to reach their potential since 1997.  The school was rebranded in 2021 as an academy within Payson High School, continuing to provide half-day and varied schedule opportunities for flexibility to support the ever-changing lives of the students. The heart of PCSA is the strong relational capacity, perseverance, empowerment, and dedication, where faculty and staff genuinely meet students where they are academically and emotionally and help them move forward while finding ways to balance school and life.

Our goal is to have all students succeed in earning their high school diploma as well as creating post-secondary goals based on their personal attributes and potential. As a collective staff, we strive to provide learning activities that require high levels of critical thinking and reasoning, accompanied by the application of learning to real-world situations. Reading and writing skills are essential in all content areas for progress and success.

Being able to support students and provide a unique atmosphere conducive to a student's success is one celebrating factor with the true celebration being alongside to witness a student finding success. Each staff member at PCSA is an experienced and dedicated professional who is committed to helping ALL students reach their full potential. Student success is not a matter of luck but is accomplished through planning, organization, goal setting, effort, determination, and a positive support system at school and outside of school.
