Mr. LaBute and his wife moved to Payson in 2017 to be close to their children and grandchildren. While enjoying his retirement, he decided to become a substitute teacher for the PUSD in 2018. He enjoys spending time with students to help them learn and develop. Mr. LaBute holds a Bachelor of Arts in Management, as well as a Master of Arts in Management from Wayland Baptist University. Mr. LaBute was an IT professional in the United States Air Force from 1977 to 2007. He then worked as a United States Air Force civil servant IT Program manager from 2007 until 2012 when he took a position as a Network Operations Center Manager for CenturyLink until 2017. In his free time, Mr. LaBute enjoys spending time with his family and vacationing with his wife of 31 years.
